Community Development
Community Development is a process that involves a community that aims to improve their social, economic, and environmental quality of the targeted communities. The results of community development-based programs are determined by the changing of the targeted community’s behavior, the utilization of their assets/skills, and the way they handled their problems.

A community development which medical students of FKUI can learn about sign language with trainer from Pusat Bahasa Isyarat Indonesia (PUSBISINDO)
Communicating Sexual Issues in Teenagers and Young Adults (CONSENT)
CONSENT is a community development which focuses on giving comprehensive sexuality education for a community consists of teenagers and young adults.
Training
CIMSA gives their members a chance of free and fun trainings about health issues to general knowledge to develop themselves to empower medical students and improve nation’s health. Besides that, you can be a trainer that gives insights and teaching others with lots of knowledge. Before being a trainer, there will be a training for new trainers first. Trainers in CIMSA not just can give a training in their own university, but also gives in national and International scope.
National Meeting
One of our goals is to provide a forum for Indonesian medical students to discuss topics related to health and education. Therefore, every year CIMSA holds its annual meetings on February, May, and October. Each meeting has specific goals, target, and strategies. The core activities on our meetings are Grand lecture and Issue Update, Trainings, Plenary Session, Parallel Sessions, and Small Working Group Discussions. In the end, the output of these meetings will be implemented in our locals’ activities.
International Meeting
Since 2002, CIMSA has been affiliated with International Federation of Medical Students’ Association (IFMSA), federation of medical students’ associations throughout the world, which is recognized by World Health Organization as the international forum for medical students.
Every CIMSA member has opportunities as member of IFMSA, particularly to be a delegate of International and Regional Meetings. Some of them are:
